Tammy Ween
Tamara “Tammy” Ween has been an essential part of the Schechter Bergen community in multiple roles—as a student, faculty member, and devoted parent. A proud alumna of the Class of 1991, she returned to Schechter Bergen from 2001 to 2003 as the Middle School Assistant Guidance Counselor. Her journey came full circle in 2013 when she became a Schechter parent, further strengthening her deep-rooted connection to the school.
For over a decade, Tammy has been a devoted leader and volunteer. She has served on the board of AHAVA, chaired the Early Childhood Carnival, and helped organize Moms’ Night Out events. She has also been a class parent and liaison, contributed to the dinner committee, and led the Schechter Chic Boutique—an event she will continue to support next year as an alumni parent. Whether helping with lunch, planning fundraisers, or cheering on her son Evan at Schechter Sharks basketball games, Tammy is a constant presence in the school community.
Beyond Schechter, Tammy is an active volunteer and a passionate advocate for Israel. She and her husband, Rob, live in Closter with their sons, Jake (‘22) and Evan (‘25). She dedicates her time to fundraising efforts through cycling events, shopping initiatives, workout fundraisers, and challah bakes.
We are proud to recognize Tammy Ween for her dedication and lasting contributions to the Schechter Bergen community.
